"Today Congress has taken positive bipartisan action that will benefit America's workers, businesses, and our economy," said Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker. "By bringing all stakeholders to the table when it comes to job training -- business leaders, community colleges, non-profits, labor and others -- we can better match those who are looking for work with the 21st century jobs that are currently available. Aligning our job training system with the needs of industry is absolutely critical to our nation's competitiveness, and the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act is important to our success."
