About the Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship

The Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE) initiative is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between celebrated American entrepreneurs, the White House, the Department of Commerce, and our interagency partners. Our goal is to harness their energy, ideas, and experience to help develop the next generation of entrepreneurs, both at home and abroad.

The Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE) initiative announced today that NASA will become the fifth interagency member to the join the growing partnership. NASA will work closely with PAGE members who focus their efforts towards supporting entrepreneurship in the science and technology sectors.

When we started the Presidential Ambassadors for Global Entrepreneurship (PAGE) initiative almost two years ago, we knew that our success would come as a result of powerful partnerships. In November, the hit American TV series Shark Tank illustrated the power of partnerships when it featured PAGE, and Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship Daymond John in a segment on the show.

Entrepreneurship is a driving force in the new economy. While debates continue around whether entrepreneurs are born or can be created, one thing is clear: people learn a great deal from the experiences of others. Entrepreneurs especially learn a great deal “on the job” and often find inspiration and mentorship from those who have “been there, done that.”
