NOAA’s State of the Climate report shows the June 2010 average temperature for
the contiguous United States was 71.4 degrees F, which is 2.2 degrees F above
the long-term average (1901-2000). The average precipitation for June was 3.33
inches, 0.44 inch above the long-term average. This monthly analysis was prepared by
scientists at NOAA’s National Climatic Data
